Different Seasons
Fashion is split into four seasons. These seasons are Spring/Summer, Fall/Winter, Resort and Pre-fall
The two major seasons, however, are Spring/Summer and Fall/Winter.
Spring receipts – begins early February – lighter fabrics, brighter colours, cotton sweaters, light weight coats,raincoats.
Intake period; February through early April.
Summer – means short sleeves, white and light clothing, love the linens and silks the natural fabrics.
Intake period; mid April through end of June.
Pre-Fall -Fall– Means a darker colour palette, warm cosy sweaters, suede’s and leathers.
Intake period; Early August through October.
Winter – long sleeves, double layers, warm outerwear and boots. This season can sometimes overlap the fall season intake, depending on weather.
Mid September through to November
Resort Fashions – overlap two seasons both winter and spring and are available October through February.
